logic 8 + leopard: appears to have screwy default permissions

just upgraded to leopard and it's screwing with logic 8. seems any file created has the wrong default permissions and i can't save over any file i create (it says the file is locked). which means i have to continue save with different filenames



any ideas about a work around?\
