On my MacBook Pro, the dock icon next to the Finder for Dashboard, normally present in Panther / Tiger, is missing.
Is this normal in Leopard?
Thanks

It's usually already in the dock.
You may have accidently dragged it off of the dock making it disappear.
Any how, go to your apps folder, find Dashboard, left click and drag it onto the Dock yourself.
The Dashboard icon doesn't always have to be next to the Finder icon. You can move them around as you please.
Here's my dock:
I hacked it a little

Thanks - I believe you can't drag the Dashboard icon off the Dock in Panther / Tiger, so that's why I was confused.
