I cannot download Safari

I have a new iMac with Leopard. When my files were transferred from my older iMac, Safari didn't load. I downloaded Safari, but two days later it disappeared. Now when I try to download Safari from the web I get the following message when I select the Hard Drive as the destination:

"You cannot install Safari 3 Beta on this volume. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."

Any suggestions. I am pretty sure Safari is supposed to run on Leopard and on my machine.

Thanks

Safari 3 is part of Leopard. If you deleted it, then reinstall it from the System Restore DVD that shipped with your computer.

I will try that, thanks. Why, though, couldn't I download it from the web?

Because the one on the web is a beta version. You can't currently download the new version of Safari 3 (3.0.4).

Makes good sense. Thank you so much.....And, by the way. I found the download with Spotlight. Seem obvious, but it took me a little longer than most.
