re-initialize hard drive

Does anyone know how to get 10.5 to ask me again if I want to initialize my disk? I made the mistake of saying no and just formating it myself. When I try to add it to my raid 5 with my rocketraid 2220, I get the drive showing up as a legacy device. In the instructions for the raid controller it says that I have to have the OS initialize the drive.



ANy ideas how I can get this t come up again?
