So Confused with screen spanning :S:S

Could someone please tell my why programs like iPhoto will go full screen on my secondary screen and why other programs like quicktime insist on full screen on my macbook screen.



Basically i want to play videos on my secondary screen in VLC or quicktime but they both just move over to the macbook screen, how do i make them stay full screen on the secondary screen?



Help would be appreciated!

    In QuickTime, go to preferences and choose the "full screen" tab. There you can choose which screen is used when the app goes full screen.
