On my iBook G4, I noticed after upgrading to Leopard, underneath the Macintosh HD icon, it shows "26.4 GB, 29.2 GB free." How do I implement this on my iMac, also running Leopard, does anyone know?
In the Finder with no window selected, go to View-->Show View Options
In the resulting window, check "Show item info"

If this option hadn't been on by default on my iBook, I don't know how long it might have been before I discovered it. I probably would have had to wait until someone else posted about it \?
