On my iBook G4, I noticed after upgrading to Leopard, underneath the Macintosh HD icon, it shows "26.4 GB, 29.2 GB free." How do I implement this on my iMac, also running Leopard, does anyone know?
In the Finder with no window selected, go to View-->Show View Options
In the resulting window, check "Show item info"
Thank You so much, that did it! This forum is great, people are always so willing to help if they can. If this option hadn't been on by default on my iBook, I don't know how long it might have been before I discovered it. I probably would have had to wait until someone else posted about it \? Thanks again, much appreciated,
