Deleted iChat, NO STARTUP DISKS!?!?!
Long story short.
iChat was messing up, so I deleted it thinking I would download it again and it would work. Didn't realize I would have to buy it.
I got my computer as a gift from a friend who got a new computer, and he did NOT give me the startup disks, so I CANNOT do the "Pacifist-Extraction" method to get iChat back. I emailed the Mac people on their official website, they sent me back some stupid stuff that didn't help at all.
Can anyone help me get iChat back somehow?
old computer, I found a version that was too new on the Mac website. here are comp Specs.
HARDWARE: Machine Model
tPower Macintosh G3 Series
SOFTWARE: System VersiontMac OS X 10.3.9 (7W98)
any suggestions would be helpful (other than getting a new computer, I know its an antique)
