Anyone using OS X with Novell Netware/Groupwise? We are just about to buy Netware 6 for our studio and i wanted to find out what experiences people have had.

There was a post on this somewhere here...that Prosoft was releasing an IP client for Mac OS X around April 2002.

Another nice way of accessing files from Macs on Novell servers are through the ftp, and the appletalk NLM for the server..dunno much about netware 6, but I've heard great things about it...Our school admin is dying to upgrade from 4.11 to 6....

    Just my 2 cents

yeah, i had heard about the prosoft IP client, but knowing about the speed they work, i wouldn't anticipate getting it until late 2002.

we run netware 4.11 using the prosoft client (version 5.14) with IPX and its pretty bad. crashes a lot as it doesn't work with navigation services!

we were hoping that as netware doesn't support IPX with version 6 that we could connect via IP. as i don't yet have a copy of OS X i'm not sure if this will work. could i just do a 'connect to server'?
