My sound is acting up...
Hi guys,
My sound just started disappearing for short periods today. What will happen is it goes away at random times for a random amount of time. If this happens, the sound control keyboard shortcuts stop working. They still appear on screen but with a "forbidden" sign at the bottom. Anybody know what's going on?
I didn't change anything but then again I haven't touched this computer for a week, my brother and mother did however, though it'd surprise me any of their actions lie at the bottom of this.
It's Tiger on an Alu iMac btw.

Are you using the iMacs internal speakers or your own speakers?
Other than that, I'm not sure what could be causing it.
