Cleaning a Macbook keyboard

as you know, the MB takes in air to cool it self down through the keyboard. thus its natural to assume that dust and w/e else can also be sucked into the innards of the MB. is there a way other than just running a vacuum over the keyboard to clean it? it doesn't look like you can take off the faceplate of the keyboard... and i don't really want to try it either.. haha
