Old bundled X apps- Sketch.app, Music Player
I was wondering if there was anywhere I could download some of the apps which used to be bundled with the X Betas.
There were a few which come to mind- Sketch.app, Music Player (this was before iTunes came out...) and Bomb.app (which would self destruct, crashing itself)
I'd love to get a hold on these apps. If anyone has them, could they upload them to the public folder on their iDisk perhaps? Or email them to me at [email protected] . Thanks a lot!

Sketch is also in the Dev tools. All you have to do is compile it. (just a matter of opening the project and hitting the build icon.)
I'm ashamed to say that a huge part of what I want is just the icons for these apps. The icon for Sketch.app was great- apple makes wonderful OS X icons.
Do you think someone could email me the apps or the icons?
Thanks!

Why would anyone want that Music Player? iTunes is MUCH better.

I like MusicPlayer. it was a nifty little app that efficiently used space and looked cool.
iTunes is better but I wish you could use a "Music Player" skin on iTunes

Yeah, having a Music Player skin would be great. I loved the size of the app.
Does anyone have it? Does it still function under 10.1?

Doesn't work in 10.1

It didn't work under 10.0 either.
I still have it, though, if you want it. Just e-mail me.
I did, however, read reports after 10.0 went GM about some people symlinking around new frameworks and copying old frameworks from the Public Beta into the 10.0 System/Library to get the PB apps to work. That included Music Player, HTMLEdit, and others. So much more has changed since then, though, that I really don't think if it'd be possible today.

Yeah you did, but then after he asked if they functioned in 10.1 so I said no.
Each window can play it's own mp3 so you can make some spiffy music mixes from the Finder
