I get a "devise was not put away " message when my computer wakes from sleep. The devise is a firewire external drive. I have to turn it off and back on to get it to re-mount. Any ideas what's going on? I'm running leopard on a 20" 1.25Ghz iMac with 2Gb of Ram.

Is the hard drive powered by the FireWire bus, or by a separate AC cable? If it's powered by the FireWire bus, the computer is likely cutting power to the port (and therefore the hard drive) when it goes to sleep.
