reformat parallels drive

I have a number of viruses on my parallels drive what should I do? Can I reformat the drive/partition?

    Go to /Users/<username>/Documents, and delete the folder labelled "Parallels". This is where all the contents of the C: drive are contained, and deleting it will remove them. Then relaunch Parallels and set up a new virtual machine.

    Download to the FREE AVG and run the virus program and see if it resolves your problem before deleting and reinstalling.

    Be advised though that this will destroy your exisiting Windows setup, including everything in it!
