Supposed videos of 10.2

Apparently Spymac has videos of what they purport to be 10.2. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" /> Given their track record with the iWalk I really don't trust them, but I figured I'd post about it anyway. They are an ambitious bunch.

I saw them but they were weren't from spymac.

They looked very real and legit, except they were made before xmas, so it was an older build.

They were SYN's when all the rumor sites started linking to them. They are legit, but they don't really show much.

My guess would be yes, but I really don't know. I got the impression that SpyMac (or sombody) is sitting on other movies that show more interesting stuff.

The About this Mac window in one of the movies shows a build number of 6B11. This is the same build that AI and Thinksecret wrote about a while ago. And at that time they said that the build came with iTunes 1, which and was suspected to have been seeded before iTunes 2's release, which makes it quite old. I wonder why nobody has any reports on newer builds.

    Spring loaded folders!

For that feature alone, plus the ppp connect bug fix, it's worth a point update. I also heard that it is perceptibly faster than 10.1. I can't wait.

OS X just keeps getting better and better!

Besides for the spring loaded folders, there's not much to see.

It doesn't show it in action. It just shows the option unless I missed something.

Here's the deal with the movies.

    They were made before Christmas.

They were sent to AI before Christmas.

They were supposed to be posted at AI before Christmas.

They were not posted because of Apple legal.

Recently on the MacNN forums, people were talking about 10.2 so I decided to show the movies.

That's it. That's all there is to the movie story.
