i know this is really early to ask but, how long does it actually take for apple to normally boost their cpu speeds? 6 months, 1 year? less/more?? im just curious because if its not gonna boost anytime soon i might as well just buy it, if it will i would rather wait for the bumped up one...anyone know apples schedules? haha

There's really no point to waiting any amount of time for, at most, 100-200 more MHz.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a speed bump for a product that isn't even shipping yet. Especially, since this is a custom designed CPU by Intel just for this product. Meaning, Intel will have to design a new chip for the updated MBA, whenever that may be. I would assume just prior to the back to school season, i.e. late summer, ~6 months.
