Mac Pro Additonal HD question

Hi- I have a first gen. 8 core mac pro. I am running out of space of the heard drive, and even though I have a 1TB external drive, I really want a 2nd entrenal drive. So, my question: Can i get one of the new 1TB Mac Pro entrnal drives, (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...A&mco=E4DE9143) and have it work on my computer? I need to know.
