Cannot register Applecare

I just bought my new macbook yesterday and went to register my applecare online. I got as far as step two when it asked what type of agreement I had. It was a drop down menu with no choices, so I could not register. I called Apple and after getting my information said there was updates being made to MacBooks and to try again in a few days. Has this ever happened to anyone??

    That's interesting that a Macbook update may be coming in a few days. They maybe prevented you from registering it in case you want to get the newer model and you can register the same Applecare on that one.

    Yeah that thought came into m head. Anyways I sent an email to support telling my problem and they fixed it. Its ok, I still like my new macbook.
