If I were to use iDisk to save some of my files online, can I then access them from one of our PCs at work ? Have not found any mention of PC compatibility on the apple website.
Many versions of Windows-based and Linux-based computers can access your iDisk or any Public folder using WebDAV, the Internet-based file sharing protocol which iDisk supports. Although the steps to connect may differ from one operating system to another, the address of your iDisk will always be the same: http://idisk.mac.com/username/?view=web where the username is your .Mac account name. For more tips on how to connect to your iDisk on Windows-based computers, please see the Help section of the .Mac web site.
They also supply an exe in the <username>/Software/iDisk Utility/ folder you can install which lets you access the iDisk quite easily.
