Does anybody know if the SuperDrive can be plugged into Wi-Fi router with a USB port (for example Time Capsule/Air Port Extreme) and used as a player/burner over the wireless connection ?

There's a small chance that the drive could be seen as a network hard drive (even though it's optical media), but I can guarantee that burning and DVD playback will not work.

If you have 2 or more macs you can use a remote burner via Toast 6 or later, internal or external, it can see/burn for up to 10 machines
