DVD 3.1 update

Well here's something that doesn't seem to be mentioned here. Not a lot of difference except that on my 17" Studio Display the image matches the size of the screen now. Before it was a little smaller and I couldn't adjust it out without screwing up the desktop screen.

I installed it but haven't used it yet. Hopefully it won't crash now though

Anyone else having rouble with this update? I tried to install it a few days ago, but when I rebooted, it said I was still on 3.0.1 in DVD player "about." It popped up again in my SW update panel today, and tried DLing it again, and still my "about DVD player" still sayd I am running 3.0.1

    Any tips?suggestions?

It must have had something wrong ( or unfinished ) with it. They just released 3.1.1.

The 3.1.1 download will update version 3.0.1 as well as 3.1.0. 3.1.1 is just the 3.1.0 update with a rather embarrassing issue fixed.

Well, I just tried installing 3.1.1 again and still no luck. It still says 3.0.1 in "about DVD player." I downloaded directly from the Apple site this time as opposed to software update since it isn't there.

I had issues a while back with DVD player update. The 3.0.1 update strangely popped up a while back when I already had it installed. Do you think I should just wipe it from the hard drive and start from sctatch (I would rather not). Help! <img src="graemlins/embarrassed.gif" border="0" alt="[Embarrassed]" />

Have you moved the DVD Player from it's home in /Applications/

    ?

If so, put it back there and then update. Apple apps have to be in that folder or they won't get updated.
