Software Update: Security Update April 2002

Just got it and installing now. Here is the description.

    Hmmm, installed without a hitch so far and no restart required. Would seem odd that such a big security update doesn't require the components to be reinitialized.



    Oh well, guess we are seeing the brighter sides of OS X.

    Actually, unless you are in the middle of an SSH/rsync/sudo when you execute the update, no 'reinitialization' is necessary. The next time the binary (app) is executed, you will be running the latest version. If you have Apache/PHP running, restart Apache for it to take effect.
