Problem with Mail in Tiger

In Panther, I was able to drag and drop a title into the Subject field of an outgoing new message. After installing Tiger, I find that doesn't work. I have to cut and paste. Oddly, I can drag and drop into the TO:, CC:, and BCC fields.

Anyone know a fix or tweak for the subject line?

I can make it work in Tiger, but in a very inconvenient way.

It will only work if I first click in the subject of the email. Then I am able to drag words in the subject field.

But if you're going to have to click in the field anyway, you may as well just paste the text in.

    Thanks tarl,

That does work if the title is on another page or site. However, I find, that you can't drag and drop it if that subject is already on the email page. As soon as the subject in the email body is highlighted, the cursor in the subject line is gone. I agree that I might as well cut and paste as try to drag and drop.

Another step backwards by Apple. Apple giveth and Apple taketh away.

I wonder if Leopard has the same problem.
