Salvaging data off of PC hard drive
Alright experts I would really appreciate your help.
My Sony PC will no longer start up windows so I have taken the HD out and put it in an enclosure. For some reason both my imac and MBP can read the drive but my Dell at work says it needs to be formatted.
I know that on a mac I can read the drive but not write it. Is this why I cannot delete files off the drive?
How can I get files off this drive and make them accessible on my imac? Will I be able to burn files from this drive onto a DVD as a data disc?
