    What really annoying is that I can't rent/buy any movie/shows at all from itunes store in Belgium.

    No wait, I can buy these:

    -For the birds-Pixar

    -One man band-Pixar

    -Boundin'-Pixar

    ----->LAME!

    Try it, change the store to belgique at the bottom of the iTunes Store homepage.

    I am not overlooking it right?

    Why aren't they available here?

    Never.

    avi is a MS/Windows format.

    iTunes movies are H.264.

    He was asking about availablitly ("avl") not about avi files.

    On a seperate note...

    Characterizing avi as a microsoft format is misleading. A Microsoft employee (Avi) basically invented the original avi spec. However, since that time, MS has had virtually no control over the file format. Other groups' extensions of the original design are actually more critical to avi files in today's world.

    Finally, comparing avi to h.264 is comparing apples to oranges. avi is a file format (a container) and h.264 is more of a codec. Technically, avi can contain h.264. Although the mere thought of this would be offensive to most gurus on the subject.

    Same story for me. I get all my media from the iTunes Store in the USA using US giftcards. It's really outrageous not to be allowed to buy music legally. It's almost like they want you to do file sharing... Join the revolution buy your music where you want! How to available here http://itunes-giftcards.com
