major mail problems
Hi guys,
I have always used my .mac email address with no problems at all, it was automatically set up in mail on all my computers and has worked fine. I recently got my own website up and running and with it came the email address - as its nice to have more than 1 proper address I manually set up the new IMPA account in mail on my iMac. This new account now works fine, but my .mac account seemingly cannot send mail now, and I get this error:
However, sending mail from my macbook (where I only have the 1 .mac account set up) works fine.
Obviously I tried rebooting but no luck, webmail also works fine on www.mac.com.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here or how to fix it? I don't want to delete my /mac account from mail and then add it back again as it will delete all of the stored mail on my hard drive and I have several backups of old mail that are no longer on the server. Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated.
