New Developer Looking For Feedback
Hello, I'm a beginning Mac software developer looking for feedback on my projects. If you find any bugs, please tell me! I will update this post as more features and bugfixes are added. If you still haven't upgraded from Tiger, you can download a Tiger-compatible version (assuming I've provided one; also, all Tiger versions are pretty much untested).
My first project is called Amethyst. It can be used to supplement a bulging dock; it stores "virtual aliases" in a convenient format.
[Amethyst v1.1.0]
[Amethyst v1.1.0 (Tiger version)]
- First public release
- Changes since v1.0.0:
- Transparent window to prevent view obstruction
- Now saves window size and position
- Gave the UI a complete overhaul, now has a totally different style
- Fixed various UI issues
- Added autosave functionality
- Added shortcut column to complement type-selecting
- Notes:
- The Tiger version's interface is not as attractive as the Leopard version's due to the unavailability of certain UI elements.
My second project is called Apex. It's a cipher-based encryption program which, if used correctly, can make your coded messages practically unbreakable.
[Apex v1.0.0]
[No Tiger version currently available]
[Cipher that right-shifts all letters]
- First public release
All versions are universal binaries.
The icons were made with Blender, one of my favorite open-source software items.
