How can I view .flv video files? Quicktime does not open them nor will any other video application I have on my Mac.

Obviously, this solution is not for OSX http://www.videospark.com/index.php?sp=18

Any thoughts?

drop the flv on, convert to .mp4 at high quality and that'll play in quicktime. There are flv viewers for the Mac (I believe one is actually called flv viewer) but mp4 is better as you can freeze frame and scrub through.

i second the isquint suggestion, but if you don't feel like/want to convert to another file type, you could download vlc player, a very good media player which can play nearly every codec, both video and audio, including flv.

you could also download perian, which allows quicktime itself to read many common video codecs, such as wmv, flv, and avi.
