I have a lombard powerbook and I installed the 10.1.5 update, but my quicktime movies still lose the same number of frames as before. Has anyone else experienced this?
Yes I have experienced it. If you read xlr8yourmac.com they explain that the driver does not actually load on lombards. They have posted the method to fix this (involves dev tools) so that the driver does indeed load. Once loaded, you won't see any more dropped frames... however there are some bugs with apps running in full screen mode not being able to give back the screen to the os. Maybe specific to my machine though
