Blue Screen

Hi Everyone. I have a problem with OS X. I'm running 10.1.5 on 500mhz TIBook with 512 ram. Recently I installed some software (fontagent) and now everytime I try to log out or shutdown I get a blue screen. When I hit the power button it gives me the shutdown menu (shutdown,sleep etc.). I've tried some stuff from osxhints.com but no dice yet. Currently I can only sudo shutdown now. Sort of frustrating on a pb. I'd appreciate if anyone could help.
