Can't View Full Screen

I have a 1 yr old MacBook Pro. Every time I try to watch something in a full screen video in Firefox (such as a youtube video), it crashes the program. This also happens when I try to view a Powerpoint video. It doesn't happen with Safari. Any ideas as to what is going on here?

    I'd be doing a disk/permissions check using Disk Utility (in the Utilities folder) before anything else.



    Next I'd try re-installing firefox. Some people may tell you to delete firefox's preferences before anything as drastic as re-installing, but I find that for a small app like firefox, re-installing is fast and clean.

    I realized that rosetta was turned on. I turned it off and now I can see full screen videos. Stupid me. I still don't know what is going on with PowerPoint, but I will try reinstalling.
