3G issues?
There are reports emerging of early 3G iPhone buyers having 3G signal strength/reception issues with the iPhone 3G when utilizing the 3G network in areas with purportedly strong coverage, per AT&T and other carriers? maps.
Wondering aloud here about how widespread the problem is and whether it just affects a batch of phones.

Of concern to me is that posters from Japan, Germany, Switzerland (and the US) who have used phones from other manufacturers that deliver excellent 3G signal strength on the same network report serious issues in the same location as signal-crippled 3G iPhone. I imagine ony a very small percentage of iPhone buyers have previously used 3G.
