okay so i live in the US, but i am studying in the UK. Is it possible for me to get a new iphone here in the US and not get a contract with at&t, and then be able to use it with one of the services in the UK for 2 years, and then use it with a service here when i come back? I know thats a bit of a weird question, any helps would be greatly appreciated!

    Should be possible, You can currently get the iPhone in the US without a contract. It will be a lot more expensive and good luck finding one right now too. Just bring it to the UK and have it activated on one of their networks i guess. Should not be a problem bringing it back into the states.
