3rd Party Webcam Reccomendations?

Hi, this is my first time here. I don't know if I put this in the right area, but here I go.





I'm looking for a webcam for around $25 that's compatible with my macbook pro.



i just need a live feed and maybe a program to use it with if that's necessary.



i want to put it outside of my door and run a USB extension to my laptop.



Any Ideas? -- doesn't have to be fancy. i just want to see what's on the other side of my door without opening it.



Would any webcam plug in and work? Drivers? Software?
