Mail only going to iPhone, not to Laptop

OK, This whole "Push" thing is convoluted and doing nothing but pissing me off.

I haven't changed any settings on my iPhone or Mail on my MacBookPro.

However, all of the sudden...My .mac mail only goes to my iphone and that's that. I have tried to forward emails to myself, and they come back to my iphone.

None of the settings seem to solve this problem. I suppose I can disable the mail account on my iphone, but what's the point of that?

Does anyone know how I can still get mail on my laptop?

You probably have both devices set to use .mac mail as "POP" so whoever gets to the mail first gets it. If you change to IMAP this will do what you want. But you will still have the problem of old mail only living on one device.

Both devices are set to IMAP and there does not seem to be any way to change that. In "Mail" the account is listed as mobil me IMAP.

Short of traveling to a city that has an Apple store, I can't seem to find the answer to this puzzling question anywhere. Frankly, I'm ready to pitch this phone in the trash. I especially enjoy the "automatic"" dialing feature where the slightest touch makes a phone call for you. Nice.
