Iphone 3g headphone jack issue

My head phones (and my aux cable in my car for that matter) wont fit fully into my iphone. I can get sound out of one ear bud but i can't get it in far enough to use my headset for really anything. Has anyone had this issue, and were you able to fix it without making a GB appointment

    I've played with about 2 iPhone 3Gs so far, one from the USA, one from Singapore, and I haven't encountered this issue. I've tried different headphones... Heck, maybe they'll just replace your whole iPhone 3G for you...
