Download files with Safari via Activity Window
I'm surprised I didn't read somewhere how to download video via Safari until just now.
Viewing youtube and status bar writes, "one error downloading page; open Activity Monitor window to view." I open the Activity Window, and just to see what happens I double tick the 10 MB movie file address, which selects the file in the window and then Safari begins to download the file!! Surprise, surprise ...
get video is the name of the file. No extension. Adding .mov won't open it but placing a .flv extension opens the file in QuickTime (Pro 7).
I bought Eltima's Flash Player Pro for this. I suppose alot of others already know how to do this, but I never knew, so I pass it on.
