I've not heard any mention yet of how the new unibody handles heat...does anyone know if it disperses heat better or does the whole thing turn into a hot potato?

I have a new Al Macbook and there is no heat when browsing, doing email or word processing. I played Spore for about 1/2 hour and the bottom was warm, but that was it. Not hot, just warm.
I have the 2.0GHz Al MacBook, and when I boot in to windows and play games it gets fairly hot. It actually froze once, but I had it on my lap at the time so I'm pretty sure it's due to that. I had to exchange my first Al MacBook the day after I got it because the fan was faulty.

I also think the fans are much quieter.
