New Mac Mini gets extremely hot - normal?
Hi all,
We just bought my 13 year old son a new Mac Mini to replace his PC. (Bought the mini so he could keep using the display he has)
We noticed the mini gets EXTREMELY hot, so hot that the underside of it is almost too hot to the touch. His PC didn't get that hot, my daughter's iMac doesn't get that hot, and my Macbook doesn't get that hot.
Is this normal or I do have a lemon that could burn down my house? And if it is normal, is placing it on some kind of a stand to allow more air to circulate around it recommended (I'm thinking like the Airport Express stand) and if so, does such a stand exist?
