Not getting Gigabit speed from Airport Extreme.

I'm not getting 1000 speed from the LAN port on my Time Cap.



I've got the CableModem plugged into the Time Capsule... from there a wired connection to an iMac, and another wired (Cat5e) line to the other end of the house where there's an Airport Extreme.

The TimeCap is not sending to the Extreme at 1000 speed though ... only at 10 !!!

I can manually set the Extreme to 100 or 1000, but then it won't connect at all.

I can plug that Cat5e directly into a MacMini and it will connect at 1000, but not to the APExtreme (or to the PS3). (I also get a 1000 connection from the TimeCap to the iMac.)



Any ideas ? (10x just isn't cutting it to serve video!)

    Which revision your AirPort Extreme is? I tried to understand your network arrangement from your wordings, and thought of something like below. Am I correct?
