iTunes won't convert my mp3's correctly
So I've had the same ipod for the past 2 years or so and i've never had a problem with it or itunes.
i recently updated and something messed up all of my music files. only a small portion of them were actually uploaded and work correctly on itunes. it seems that the only files that don't work are mp3's. unfortunately, the larger portion of my music library consists of mp3's.
i've gone through multiple forums and tech sites to try and figure this out and i still dont' get it. at first i thought that it was because of the update, and i had heard that some people had had some problems with itunes 7 before. so i just downloaded 6 instead. still doesn't work.
i'm not really sure what else to do at this point. when i simply drag and drop the mp3s into itunes and play them, the sound is choppy and sort of sped up. this also makes it sound that way on my ipod. suggestions please?
