How to vertically centre a paragraph in Word?

I need to centre a paragraph for a title page in Word, and know how to do it under Windows, but can't find the same options for the Mac.



I've tried the Word help, and tried Googling, but had no luck. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it, and could get back to my assignment!

    Use the menu Format>Paragraph Then choose alignment centered.

    1. select the paragraph

    2. do control-c (for copy)

    3. open Pages

    4. Paste the paragraph (control-v)

    5. center the paragraph

    6. do control-c again

    7. go back to microshit word

    8. paste the formatted paragraph
