Itunes music lost - please help!!
Hi, Im new to these boards so apologies if this has already been covered.
I recently copied all my music to an eternal hard drive and removed them from their original location on the c: (itunes music). I updated the entry in 'Edit->preferences->advanced->itunes music folder location' to indicate the location of my tracks. However, whenever Im trying to sync the Ipod now I get an error telling me that the itunes song could not be used because the original file could not be found. If I go in and physically open the track from its new location it works, but I have 1000's of tracks and this would take a long long time!! Can anyone tell me if there is a quicker way to remedy this?
