Apple releases Mail fix for Mac OS X 10.5.6
Apple on Monday evening released Mail Update (58MB), a patch for its in-house email client.
The software remedies problems with frequent crashing that may be caused by a flawed update to Mac OS X 10.5.6 and will work only with that version of Leopard.
In particular, it aims to solve problems where some or all of an older version of Mail would remain despite the new revision. Downloading and installing the full 10.5.6 Combo Update is also said to address the issue.
