Disk Utility and Installer Don't see my new hard drive
I just installed a new 320GB HD into my 2007 Macbook. The installation went fine. But Disk Utility nor the OS installer can see my new HD (they didn't see my old HD either, which is why I bought a new one). Before I bought a new HD,I brought my mac to the Apple genius and he suggested that the old HD was toast and the only hope was sending it to a disk recovery place.
Now that the new HD can't be seen by the computer, what is the possible issue? Logic board? I don't want to drive an hour to see the "genius" again...
