MacBook purchase question

I have been a PC user for many years and will now purchase a MacBOOK laptop...I have

a pricing question...



I can purchase the following 15 inch laptop on Amazon for $1649...will the price get

further reduced soon due to new announcements, product upgrades, etc? Or is

$1649 the best it will get for awhile. Many thanks.

check macmall. they have a MBP 15" for 1299.99 after $200 mail in rebate. its got the nvidia chip 128 but this one is not the unibody MBP with the black screen though.
