So my friend told me about a program called myMovies to archive your dvd collection. However that is only for windows. Does anyone know any good free programs like this for the mac? thanks
It'll database your DVD's (and CD's, books, games, etc, etc...) and pull data from the internet to create a summary and other info to go along with it. (Definitely beats typing that info in.) Using the iSight camera as a barcode scanner is neat, but mostly a gimmick, as it's not always reliable, and I can type in an ISBN almost as fast.

Do you want to store the entire video on your HDD?... (I'll leave that to the many other threads on the topic.)
Or do you merely want to create a database of the DVD's you have sitting on your shelf?
