My Mac Mini's audio pop's when it starts to play audio if I haven't played any sound for a while, or if I restart the system. This happened before after an OS X update, but was fixed, and I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing again too?

I've had a cricket sound coming from my speakers, off and own, for the last year or so. I have no idea what causes the sound, but definitely coming from the speakers.
