Apple on Tuesday night put out MacBook SMC Update 1.3 (557KB).
The update is meant solely for owners of Apple's NVIDIA-based white MacBook and improves stability as well as performance on the entry-level 13-inch systems. The company notes that some users encounter unusually sluggish startup times when the system is booted solely on battery power, even after a restart.
Aluminum models aren't known to be affected by the issue.
