Will a Softbank SIM card work in a US or Canadian iPhone?
Different GSM band so no right?
However the WiFi will work as normal right? If a friend brings over a US iPhone and has free WiFi at a cafe in Japan here they can use it right?

The iPhone uses 850, 1900 and 2100 UMTS bands so should work it will be Network locked you are better of getting one from Hong Kong.
