generate e-flyer with link

I've created an e-flyer in InDesign and want to include a hyperlink to a website.
Tried creating a button and new hyperlink but no luck...

what format is it?
if i put in a link & generate a pdf, it hyperlinks it automatically.
but you can also put in text like "apple" & have it link to
www.apple.com
when you export tho, make sure when the settings screen pops up, that the option to INCLUDE hyperlinks, bookmarks, etc are checked.

Thanks, I hadn't checked the export hyperlink option.
However, I want to attach the document in an email and have the link clickable from within the email. It still doesn't seem to do that.

are you doing a pdf or html email msg?
under the Text menu, there's an item for Hyperlinks & bookmarks... use that to set the links on text, if you haven't already.
or you can just simply write the email with the link.
a lot of places now are blocking msgs with attachments & html code isn't passed thru.
but I guess that's up to you.
